The Kansas City Royals baseball team play in KC against the New York Mets on Wednesday, August 2nd at 7:10 and Thursday, August 3rd at 1:10. It’s a 20-minute drive from our area.
The World Champion Chiefs training camp will be underway. https://www.chiefs.com/trainingcamp/schedule They don’t practice on Friday, but practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Training camp is in St Joseph, MO, about an hour north of Kansas City. The public can attend for free, but limited tickets are issued in advance. Let us know if you want to attend (it’s pretty cool) and we’ll secure tickets.
